Something I struggle with constantly is fear and anxiety. There have been many instances where I have wanted to try something, but I have listened to a voice that tells me I’m not enough. Something to keep in mind is verse 2 Timothy 1:7. This verse tells us that God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. This tells me that we have a God that wants us to be confident and bold in the things that we do. My mother-in-law always tries to remind me that when I hear those intrusive thoughts that there is only one person that wants me to cower and to ignore that. We know that God’s word is truth, so always look to see what He says about fear, anxiety, depression, and any other areas of struggle. I encourage you to pray these out loud and stomp all over the enemy while you are doing it.

Chosen, Loved, and Want to share that with others
I have spent the past year I believe being refined and in many ways have grown tremendously. I keep feeling like I am being asked to prepare myself for sharing the gospel. I decided that as a step forward I wanted to create a community of believers and share the love of Christ with others.

I have been saved since I was about 14 years old. I was sitting in the church and felt God calling to be my Lord and Savior. But I believe the most powerful testimony I could share with you all is from 6 years ago. My husband was in the army at the time and we were separated for a year. I had several rocky relationships in my inner circle and honestly it felt like my world was falling apart. I didn’t think I wanted to even exist anymore. I had some that were the closest to me make me feel like I was worthless. I always carried the feelings of being overlooked and unloved. This was the enemy whispering lies and it had me questioning everything. But I believe God put people in my life that made me look to my Heavenly Father. In the midst of that storm I learned that there is always one person that loves me unconditionally. Sometimes it’s hard for me not to want to people please, but the most important relationship I will ever have is Jesus Christ. He willingly paid my debt and I am Free. He is always there with open arms and has picked me up more times then I can count. All I had to do was cling to Him and change my focus and it drowned out the outside noise.

Isaiah 4:32- When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
As I have read through the bible there are more things than I can count that have put me in awe of God and his power. But what has truly given me so much comfort with this particular verse is knowing that I have a God willing to walk through the fire with me. We see this also applied when we look in Daniel. One of my favorite stories in Daniel 3:25. Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon sets up a gold statue and commands the people to worship it. The king of Babylon sets a specific time everyday to do this and if you were found disobeying his command you would thrown into a fiery furnace. Because Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego stood firm in their faith and did not fall into worship with the crowd they were bound and thrown into the furnace. Nebuchadnezzar goes to investigate their fate he states that he sees four men in the fire. He describes this fourth man as being the Son of God. Not only did God protect the men from a fiery death, but he also joins them in the furnace. In Deuteronomy 31:6 it states that we don’t have to be afraid of anything because the Lord is with us and will not forsake us. I find a lot of comfort that I have an Almighty God that loves me and is willing to follow beside me in trials. I encourage you to take all things to the Lord big or small. He wants to hear what is going on in your life, and wants to be invited into the trials with you. You will never be alone.
