• Psalm 55:22

Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved

  • Psalm 62:7-8

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times, ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

  • Psalm 37: 23-24

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

  • This is how I currently feel. I want to cling to what I think is best but have no idea the plans He has for me that is way more than what I can even comprehend.
  • Do you think that following God is always easy and simple? I have started a new devotional for the year and today’s devotional was talking about how sometimes according to “culture” or the world what we are doing doesn’t make sense at all. Imagine being Noah one of the only righteous men and being asked to build an ark when it hadn’t ever rained. People mocking and saying you are crazy because they don’t serve or hear the living God like you do. Imagine being Moses and asked to go rescue a whole group of Israelites from a tyrant that is never gonna listen to you. How important is your faith to you? What are you willing to lose? If your faith is important then that means so is obedience. God can equip you for any job He calls you to do. You never have to worry God carries you through it.
